Summer 5k Race Series at Factory by Beer Tree
The Triple Cities Runners Club and Factory by Beer Tree have come up with the perfect way to usher in live racing. We will have a 5k on the first four Tuesdays in June, staring and ending in the Oakdale Mall parking lot. Bring your non-running friends to sit on the deck and cheer you on as they will see you quite often during this of creative 5k course, taking place entirely within the parking lot of the mall.
For TCRC members, the race fee is just $10 and includes a free beverage compliments of the fine brewers at Factory. If you are not a member, each race will only set you back $15. Race shirts will be $10 and the design will be announced next week.
Be sure to register ASAP given each race will be capped at 50 runners. Anyone who runs a four-pack will receive a highly collectible baseball cap free of charge.
Wednesday Night Track Meets are BACK!
The 2021 TCRC Track Meets will begin on Wednesday, July 7th, and continue weekly on Wednesdays) through August 11th.
The meets will be on the track at the Maine-Endwell High School Track unless otherwise announced.
Regular events are; one mile, 800 meters, 400 meters, and two-mile on the track. We also plan to have a 5000m Track Event one of the weeks! All ages and all abilities are welcome.
Registration starts at 5:30, and the events start promptly at 6:00. Participation is free for all TCRC members; all non-members are welcome and will just need to sign a waiver and pay a $5 fee for the season (or join the TCRC).
Meet Dates are: 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28, 8/4. 8/11
*Masks should be worn at all times except while running. Please follow all posted or told COVID guidelines. If you are not feeling well, we respectfully ask that you stay home that evening.
