Group Run

Group Runs/Workouts

TCRC members organize different training runs of different distances and paces throughout the year. The TCRC and the Confluence Running Store are also working together to promote running in the community. The Confluence Running Store sponsors frequent training runs, with a regular Thursday evening run, Saturday run, and other road and trail runs. The TCRC and Confluence Running runs welcome members, non-members and newcomers of all abilities.

Track meet

TCRC Track Meets

The TCRC Track Meets are traditionally held on Wednesday Nights throughout the summer at the Maine-Endwell High School Track. Regular events are; one mile, 800 meters, 400 meters, and two-mile on the track. In 2018, we also held our first 5000 meters (5k) race on the track.


Registration starts at 5:30, and the events start promptly at 6:00. Participation is free for all TCRC members; all non-members are welcome and will just need to sign a waiver and pay a $5 fee for the season (or join the TCRC).

Long Run

Sunday Long Run

The TCRC is sponsoring training runs open to all at no charge. Routes of various distances from 5 miles up to 15 or more miles have been mapped out. Informal groups will be running at different paces and different distances. Runs are usually followed by breakfast at a nearby cafe


The starting location and start time (usually between 7 AM and 8 AM) may change from week to week. The runs are held on most Sundays during the calendar year.

Trail Runs

The Binghamton Area Trail Runners is a group of folks who are lovers of nature and trail running and not afraid of some mud and the occasional digger. They have weekly trail runs organized on both Tuesday nights and Sundays and occasionally organize other group runs or trips. Check their event page for details.


Whether you're just starting out on trails or you're a seasoned ultramarathoner, you're welcome to any of their events. No speed or ability requirements, no runner left behind. They are a great resource for all things trail!
