As we come to the final hours of what will go down as a monumental and for many difficult year, I want us all to focus on our strengths. Remember the many things we accomplished this year:
On roads, trails and tracks, WE RAN On snow, ice, pavement and grass, WE RAN On dark solitary mornings, WE RAN On sunny afternoons and rainy evenings, WE RAN On treadmills in our homes, WE RAN On our own, with our pets, or with our family, WE RAN Even while apart, WE STILL RAN And when the clock strikes midnight and we advance the calendar page another year, WE WILL STILL RUN
As we enter 2021 and the 50th Anniversary of the Triple Cities Runners Club (1971-2021), I wish you and yours a bright and hopeful new year! I thank all our members and especially my fellow board members for all they do to continue to encourage and support running in our local community.
