Unfortunately, Mother Nature is not on our side this year.

Once again the weather for this weekend is looking dangerously cold and we need to consider the safety of our runners, volunteers, and timers in these extreme conditions. So on that note, we will be canceling the Freeze for this weekend, 1/31/26. So there will be no more freeze races this year.

*This is the one downside of hosting races in January...

Per RRCA guidelines, "When to Cancel/Postpone/Modify a Road Race due to Adverse Weather Condition.... Extreme cold. When the combined temperature and wind chill is below 5F, there is the risk of flesh freezing and hypothermia." During the race we are expecting windchills well below 5F.

If you registered and paid for the 1/31/26 race, please email us at Triplecitiesrunnersclub@gmail.com to talk about options.

We hope everyone will understand the need to protect our running community and volunteers.
